These newly built homes are on a massive property consisting of one main house and 3 other houses on the property. We undertook to complete all the waterproofing on the flat concrete roof areas in a timeously manner in order for all the work to be complete so that the families could move in by the deadline date. We used our imported torch on waterproofing system which is 4mm thick and dual layered membrane allowing for a water tight system. All flat roof areas were cleaned and prepared for waterproofing to commence. Torchon waterproofing was laid followed by flashing of the end laps. Once the torch on application was weathered (generally takes 1-2 weeks weather depending) we then returned to put on a silver protective coating on top as the torch on system is not UV stable and will deteriorate in our South African climate without the silver coating. All 4 houses were completed precisely and timeously and we were exceptionally proud of the outcome.
